Subcarbon Records delivers the highly anticipated new bass anthem “Ganja Tape” produced by Ganja White Night and Tape B, after both artists have been teasing the tune in recent sets. The track combines the signature wobble sound by Ganja and Tape B’s astounding sound design. Dubstep fans have been tuned in and patiently waiting for this release, highlighting their fascination with the vocals before the first drop – “Yo Tape B! Yes, Ganja?”
These artists have built some impressive momentum in 2024, and “Ganja Tape” is a track that highlights the bold transformations across their careers. Ganja White Night had an eventful summer hosting their own curated shows including a two-night production at the Hampton Coliseum for Wobble Coliseum 2024. In addition, Tape B released the iconic “Gas Pedal (Remix)” with electronic icons John Summit and Subtronics. Ganja White Night and Tape B will both be finishing out tours this year and with only three months left in the year, “Ganja Tape” could be the bass anthem of 2024.
Ganja White Night is a Belgian bass duo by the names of Benjamin “Bamby” Bayeul and Charlie “Erwan” Dodson. The duo grew up raised in a small town in Mons, Belgium. Their unique wobble-fueled soundscapes have helped the duo become so iconic, spreading their love of bass music around the world. Their roots in music range from reggae vibes to future bass to early UK dubstep. Their sound is truly different and delivers something fresh to the scene.

The duo gained ground-breaking momentum in 2016 with the release of their Mr. Wobble LP. The release came with a notable addition to their production when they teamed up with a famous Belgian street artist, Ebo, to create an animated world of their own for the introduction of their iconic mascot Mr. Wobble. Subsequent albums have continued to tell the tale of Mr. Wobble including their most recent album, Unity. The duo plans to continue diving deeper into the exploration of this creation as they push boundaries of the electronic music world. With each and every track, they are proving their case as one of the scene’s best acts. That’s exactly what we get here on “Ganja Tape.“
Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Kemal Berk Alkanat aka Tape B moved to the United States at three years old. He brings a genre-defying sound to the electronic music community, blending old-school dubstep with contemporary bass and hip-hop. The University of Central Florida is where his musical journey began, and his career took a notable turn professionally at Lost Lands in 2019. Some large contributing factors to Tape B’s rise are his viral SoundCloud mixes, infectious hip-hop edits, and dynamic live performances. He has successfully sold out every headlining event he’s done since December 2023. Tape B has big plans for the future, including launching his own record label with values focused on artist integrity and ownership. We can’t wait for what’s next on this rising star’s journey to the top.
