There’s nowhere to go but up for Nashville-native producer, Effin. The titanic bass producer cracked open his vault to let loose a crowd favorite, “Bringing Me Down”, the second single off his upcoming sophomore album, Daydreams.

This latest track flaunts Effin’s surgical precision-level production, as he sows the auditory realms of melodious harmonies and dynamic basslines into one infectious soundscape. After his last two massive collaborative releases, “DIZZY SPELL” with LSDream and “Ups and Downs” with Tape B, “Bringing Me Down” perfectly carries the torch on the road to the release of his forthcoming new album. 

With each release Effin proves himself to be one of the most innovative minds in the world of bass music. In 2023, Effin hit his stride when he unveiled his debut album, Cheap Thrills, a comprehensive full-length masterpiece. His ability to fuse the raw elements of timeless sounds with the modern-day percussive punch of dubstep has resulted in an explosive discography and a cavalcade of mind-bending performances at venues across the country, ranging from Excision’s dubstep super bowl Lost Lands, to the debut of SLANDER’s Starbase Festival. This summer is shaping up to be a major knotch in the Effin’s career belt, as he prepares for his sophomore album, Daydreams, as well as debut performances at this year’s Bonnaroo and Shambala festivals. 

“Bringing Me Down” offers us a brief glimpse into the world of Effin’s Daydreams, that fans can expect to hear when his upcoming full-length project releases. This new single opens with a smooth and sultry bridge, giving listeners a nostalgic cadence to prepare them for the incoming thundering basslines. The track’s crescendo breaks the barrier between the classic opening tones and the introduced crunching reverb, blending them into one irresistible percussive cocktail.
