Phil Hubelbank, otherwise known as Undehfined, is an East Coast producer who meticulously crafts bass music and blends multiple genres to create a unique and masterful sound. He boasts releases recognized by notable organizations and labels in the EDM scene, such as Wubaholics, Thissongissick, and UKF. In addition, one of his most recent releases with Mousai, “Revival,” recently landed him on Liquid Stranger’s label SSKWAN. Undehfined’s trail-blazing within the experimental bass scene continues with the release of his newest EP, “Legacy Southpaw.” Undehfined’s newest project includes three filthy new bangers that will be must-add tracks to your playlist.

The lead track for this EP comes out swinging with “Hot Drop,” which uses a wobbly bass for the first drop and a smoother bassline for the second drop, mixed with some fun vocal chops.

The second track, “Chopped Livah,” jumps right into the action with a crunchy bassline, accompanied by ominous background notes that serve as the melody. “The Blooper” concludes the EP by bumping up the tempo and transitioning perfectly from “Chopped Livah” by continuing with another psychedelic and bouncy melody.

Undehfined’s final track, “The Blooper,” employs elements of glitchy sounds and warped bass, creating a feel reminiscent of two-stepping through a fractal path along an interdimensional forest.

“Legacy Southpaw” is a fantastic example of how cohesive an EP can be since these tracks seamlessly flow together and complement each other like puzzle pieces. Additionally, each piece demonstrates Undehfined’s masterful simultaneous meshing of distorted bass with complex melodies.
