FUTURE JOY embraces the moment with their radiant new album titled “NOW”. This album is a vibrant genre-defying album born from the road, literally. Future Joy is a dynamic electronic duo consisting of members Zach Simms and Emily Cooper. With home base roots in Denver, CO, and St. Petersburg, FL, they travel across the country playing shows in their RV, which features a stage and doubles as their studio. Their music blends influences from disco, funk, house, pop, techno, jazz, drum and bass, and more, creating a sound all of their own. The multi-talented husband and wife duo both DJ, produce, sing, and play keyboard, while Simms also plays the tenor, baritone, and bass saxophone. Their funky style and exuberant energy bring fun vibes to every set. Zach and Emily were recently married in February 2025 during their Joyful Festival in Florida, adding another layer of emotional resonance to the album.

Future Joy has performed at a plethora of festivals across the country, including Bonnaroo, Hulaween, Resonate, Secret Dreams,  StrangeCreek, Wormtown, Love Burn, Elements, Rekinection, and many iconic venues in the bass music world, ranging from The Black Box to Red Rocks. They have played direct support for Jason Leech, Manic Focus, Marvel Years, Sunsquabi, The Polish Ambassador, and tons more. They were most recently on tour with the funk meets EDM trio Moon Hooch.

Future Joy’s “NOW” album feels like stepping into a moving kaleidoscope that’s constantly shifting but always grounded in joy, love, and energy.

The opening track, titled “When I’m With You,” sets the tone for the album’s themes of love, travel, movement, and living in the present moment. Bursting with electric energy, it weaves together euphoria and passion in a vibrant celebration of deep emotional connection and intensity. “The Greatest” swoops in to balance the high-energy moments with spacious grooves. It stretches the soundscape, letting each element breathe. The track features one of the most beautiful and deliberate blends of Future Joy’s signature saxophone, shimmering synths, and subtly layered vocals, creating a sound that feels both expansive and intimate. It’s a soothing moment of exhalation without losing momentum, where confidence meets calm and emotion swells beneath the rhythm.
