Kill Safari, a collaborative project between Kill The Noise and Bro Safari, just unleashed the track “UGS.” Released on Deadbeats, “UGS” is a bangin’ anthem that is reminiscent of the bass genre’s early roots and Bro Safari and Kill The Noise’s impact on the brostep subgenre. Beginning with raunchy vocals that give the tune its name, listeners are promptly clobbered with distorted drums, heavy basslines, and razor-edged vocal chops. During their instant classic Lost Lands 2025 set in the Crater stage, the duo teased “UGS” as well as some of their other new material, veritably ushering in the next era of Kill Safari. This track marks the start of something monumentous for the duo, and they have a forthcoming EP titled “Crashout” that will feature more of their unique genre-bending sound.
When asked about “UGS,” “Crashout,” and the Kill Safari project as a whole, the duo had this to say:
“This song and the entire EP came from us getting back to why we started making music together in the first place, no expectations — just experimenting, laughing, and chasing the ideas that feel good. It ended up becoming something that really captures both of our sounds in a natural way.”
– Kill The Noise & Bro Safari
Kill Safari, comprised of Nicholas Weiller (Bro Safari) and Jacob Stanczak (Kill The Noise), debuted their collaborative project at The Caverns in 2023. The project combines Bro Safari’s knack for beats and melodies with Kill The Noise’s heavy basslines, creating electrifying soundscapes. The group also has the keen ability to merge genres, blending their trap, dubstep, and electro stylings into a new sonic experience that can be glimpsed in “UGS”. If you want to check out this duo live, they are performing at Apocalypse: Zombieland in November and Forbidden Kingdom in April, with additional 2026 tour dates to be announced soon.
Today’s filthy track, “UGS,” was released on Zeds Dead’s iconic label, Deadbeats. This label’s mission is to push the bounds of bass music and experiment with genre-defying sounds. This means that Deadbeats not only champions iconic names, but also rising star artists who have recently broken out, ranging from legends like Rusko andCASPA, to newcomers like IMANU, HEYZ, and CHEE.
“UGS” is your new go-to neck-breaking tune, which has honestly come to be expected from the two heavyweight producers that make up Kill Safari. The track starts with a delightful ambiance made of simple vocal loops and quickly brings us to the high-intensity bassline. The song seemingly causes listeners to enter a spastic flow state, living in their moment and jamming out to the filthy beats. Kill Safari delivered fans a gem with “UGS,” which only makes us here at HIHF more hyped up to check out their upcoming EP “Crashout.”
