Heard It Here First

April was very good to us in terms of both Hip Hop and Electronic releases. We got blessed with massive EDM releases from Alison Wonderland, Kayzo, Krewella & Adventure Club, Slushii, Boogie T & Griz, LSDREAM, Crankdat, Dion Timmer & Dubloadz, Anna Lunoe & Wuki, G-Rex & Stuca, and of course, the first release from Avicii’s posthumous album, which is slated for June.

We also got Griz’ highly anticipated “Ride Waves” album, which boasted features from Snoop Dogg, Matisyahu, Wiz Khalifa, DRAM, Bootsy Collins, and many more.

In the hip-hop realm, we received epic full projects from ScHoolboy Q, Anderson. Paak, Kevin Abstract, and two huge singles from Lil Uzi Vert and one from UK grime heavyweight Stormzy.

Our two favorite tracks of the month were Kayzo’s new Punk-Rock effort featuring Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low, and Zeds Dead’s remix of “Close To Me” by Diplo & Elie Goulding.
