GRiZ has been super busy in 2019. He sold out two Red Rocks dates, went on a massive nationwide tour to follow up his Ride Waves album, and today brings his fans the fourth project post-album. Bangers[4]Zip, like its predecessors, contains three brand new jams.

The first, “Gonna Get Funky“, is a reimagining of The Cha Cha Slide. GRiZ puts his Tech-House shoes on and transforms the dance-floor classic into a club-ready banger. The second track is titled “Let’s Get Weird“, and that’s exactly what ensues. Layers of imaginative dubstep burst through this new addition to GRiZ’s already stacked arsenal of hits.

The last track was my personal favorite. “Tiger Kingdom Space Camp” brings all sorts of vibes along with it. GRiZ has been including this one in his live sets as of late, even going as far as to bring out the UC Berkeley marching band to perform with him at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. GRiZ says the tune was inspired by sounds heard on his trips to Thailand and Madrid, Spain.
