Seven Lions, YDG, and Bella Renee just dropped an early contender for the biggest collab of 2025! This genre-melding track titled “Man Down” is an emotional banger that combines Seven Lions’ melodic acumen, Bella Renee’s beautiful vocals, and YDG’s signature bass barrage. The three coordinate into a gorgeous soundscape that elicits both a state of euphoria and reflection.

From the moment the track starts, listeners need only to lock in and let their daily stresses melt away. “Man Down” is one of those tracks with the versatility to be played in the middle of a headbanging festival set or at a casual hangout with friends. This is the premiere collaboration between Seven Lions and YDG, and with the way it sounds, they’re sure to join forces again to create more hits.

Seven Lions, whose real name is Jeff Montalvo, is a giant in the melodic bass genre. He is known for his tracks that have both euphoric and dynamic sounds, producing emotionally charged masterpieces. His career took off in 2012, after his remix of “You Got to Go”  won a contest held by the track’s original artists, dance music legends Above & Beyond. Since then, his name has echoed across the dance music world. He has released hit tracks like “Need Your Love (Ft. Noah Kahan)” with Gryffin and “Strangers” with Tove Lo. Bella Renee is a genre-defying producer and vocalist who combines indie sounds with experimental bass. This is her second collaboration with YDG in 2025, the first being “Loving Me,” a deep-trapped out banger. She also released the first-ever Drum N Bass EP on Steve Aoki’s label, Dim Mak Records. She has also collaborated with the likes of Skellytn, Ookay, and NEOTEK. You can catch Bella Renee live in Denver opening for Ryan Nevis, in Seattle opening for YDG, or at the Homie Collective Campout, where she’s headlining the DnB Stage.

This track was released on Seven Lions’ label, Ophelia Records, one of the preeminent hubs for emotional dance music. Some of the biggest tracks they have released are “I’ll Wait For You (Ft. Skylar Grey)” by Subtronics and Seven Lions, “Island” by Seven Lions, Wooli, and Trivecta, & “First Time (ft. Dylan Matthews)” by SLANDER, DABIN, and Seven Lions.
