Today, American DJ and producer Seven Lions (Jeff Montalvo) finally released his most asked-about song from live sets called “Only Now”, which features LA-based songwriter and vocalist Tyler Graves. The epic melodic dubstep track is out now on Montalvo’s Ophelia Records imprint, and doubles as both Seven Lions’s first solo production since 2018 and his first release of 2020. He had previously capped off his 2019 with a single alongside Jason Ross titled “Known You Before”.
“Only Now” flaunts melodic ethereal arpeggio synths, bright reverbed piano and grandiose percussion. The track continues to unfold as the light and airy feel begins to coil up, and the climax explodes with a distorted growl.
“Only Now” is just one among the tracks Seven Lions still has up his sleeve–he has yet to release his HALIENE collaboration called “What’s Done Is Done”, and another vocal tune titled “We’ll Find A Way”. While you wait, check out “Only Now” below!
