Viskus and VLCN are two of the fastest rising stars in the bass world. Viskus is a Michigan-based producer who has been crushing it over the past few years. He has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the underground, ranging from Ravenscoon to Space Wizard to MeSo.
VLCN is a Florida-based producer who is demolishing the return of live events down there, playing show after show, and making loads of new fans on the way. His “Griztronics” flip has passed over a hundred thousand plays, is coming up on two hundred thousand, and is our personal favorite remix to 2019’s biggest festival tune. He also just unveiled a massive, hour and a half, Abduction mix, and has released music on Excision‘s Subsidia and even Fortnite’s in-game radio, in the past.
Today, the two budding artists are linking up for a massive new collab. Viskus and VLCN are taking on Wiz Khalifa’s classic single “Work Hard, Play Hard” and are absolutely flipping it on its ass. Here’s what VLCN had to say about their filthy new flip and teaming up with VIskus:
“I’ve always looked up to Nick for years when it comes to writing more experimental-based music. So, working together was surreal. The tune came out great” – VLCN
Out now through the DC-based Gradient Perspective, home to names like Choppy Oppy, Beat Kitty, Josh Teed and tons more, this vicious slapper of a remix is going to be on repeat for a while for us over here at HIHF.
