Reigning all the way from Auckland, New Zealand, QUIX is back to tear up the trap scene with his crushing, unique sound design. When it comes to ingenuity, there is no one quite like QUIX. His wonky, trapped-out bass background emerges from his established roots throughout his discography and blossoms into his own genre of electronic music. His presence is thrilling and ecstatically energetic, as he draws in listeners from every country across the globe.

Today, QUIX releases his second EP installment from the I Don’t Know series, including four brand new ID’s. Released via Lowly., each track was mixed and mastered by QUIX himself and consists of zero vocalists or any other collaborative efforts.

Each track is diverse in its originality and contains that signature QUIX sound we all love and cherish. Trapped out anthems “Lighthouse” and “Up Time” fuel the curation with staggering vivacity, that deliver the spirits of big festival vibrations. “Run Like the Wind” builds us up with some shaky synths and rickety bass. This bone-shattering banger proves his experimental trap sound is like none other.

After he presents us with three back-to-back trap anthems, he lights us up with “Sandman” and cools us down with “Perhaps”. The euphoric, chilling synths and background vocals collectively leave us floating in a dream-state, curiously pondering how music can be so powerful.

QUIX says, “ I put together a body of work that represents songs that I didn’t have any idea what to do with, but I wanted to give them to you! Typically, it doesn’t feature any vocalists, and for this EP I’ve mixed and mastered it myself. I feel like I’ve covered a wide variety of genres and different sides of my musical tastes, from wonky trap to dubstep to house. Big ups to Lowly. for coming on board and helping me put this out, hope you enjoy the EP!”
