Starting from Mike Darling’s college dorm room in 2011, the Monstercat label has evolved into one of the leading independent labels in electronic music and a growing family of mold-breaking artists. They have crafted and facilitated an ever-expanding brand where they have truly set the standard for artist discovery, innovation, and sustainability for over 1,000 artists.

Now, they are celebrating their 10th anniversary in Monstercat fashion. The celebration includes a full-length sixteen-track album from artists across its three imprints, Uncaged, Instinct, and Silk. The project shows love to the artists and sounds that have molded Monstercat’s history and also features fan-favorite IDs from over the years, some dating back to 2011. A time capsule of the last decade in dance music, Monstercat -10 Year Anniversary album spans across Dubstep, Electro House, Future Bass, and more from artists instrumental to the growth of the label like Stephen Walking, Pegboard Nerds, Rogue, Shingo, Nakamura, Nitro Fun, and more.

Along with this massive album, Monstercat is introducing the first record label 3D influencer in partnership with fellow Canadian company Animism Studios. The 3D character gives life to the beloved Monstercat mascot and outfits it with a cheeky attitude and mischievous mannerisms. Be on the lookout for appearances from the 3D character at live events, streams, and Monstercat digital spaces, and more.

Monstercat will also be hosting a celebratory worldwide livestream event on July 3 at 12 PM PT on twitch. The stream will bring over ten artists from all over to perform such as Justin Oh in Korea, A.M.R in Qatar, Mazare in Italy, and Throttle in Australia. The celebration sums up the Monstercat experience connecting diverse communities through music, culture, and innovation.
