It is 2021 and most of the U.S. has exited the exclusively digital world of peak lockdowns, but that hasn’t stopped Pixel Terror, your favorite animated producers, and DJs from cranking out hits.
After a massive 2020 filled with releases and streamed sets, Ahrya and Bentley are keeping their foot on the 8-bit pedal in 2021 with yet another banger, “Elysium”. Their fifth single release of the year and first standalone release on Bassrush Records proves that despite the fact that audiences are returning to the analog world, these digital natives aren’t slowing down a single step.
Their most recent release comes to us from Bassrush Records, a label that has been both a pioneer and a leader in the bass music and dubstep scene. This is Pixel Terror’s second release on the label and their first as the sole artist. Last November, they linked up with Nazaar for a mind-melting single titled “Imperial“ which showcased both artists’ unique yet complementary sound.
“Elysium” merges a fresh sound with their classic Pixel Terror style using strong melodies to suck the listener into a futuristic metropolis soundscape while delivering multiple punishing drops at the behest of a strong euphoric buildup.
