NGHTMRE turns ILLENIUM’s “Heavenly Side” into an epic journey that we all need to hear after the original song’s recent release.
Since 2015, NGHTMRE has been known for his stunning sound and boundary-pushing music. From his first single “Street” to one of his latest releases “Scars” , with Yung Pinch, NGHTMRE has always been delivering straight bangers.
He’s a master of remixing and is always showing us how creative he can get with his producing skills. NGHTMRE has remixed tracks from Tiësto, Skrillex, Zhu, Dillon Francis, and Alison Wonderland plus many more. He has also collaborated with artists from different genres such as big-name rappers like Gunna and A$AP Ferg and other EDM artists including The Chainsmokers, Big Gigantic, and Flux Pavilion.
During the pandemic, he hosted The Highlands, a live stream featuring professional skaters Tony Hawk and Elliot Sloan. He has also been busy working on his debut album, which we are all excited to hear. You can catch him at many upcoming events this year including Seven Lions’ Chronicles Chapter III, Crush: San Francisco, and SLANDER’s Starbase Festival!
ILLENIUM’s “Heavenly Side”, one of many pieces of his Fallen Embers album, came out a month ago and NGHTMRE’s remix is the first official remix released. It is also his first ILLENIUM remix and he delivered on it perfectly. Right from the start, he adds a new touch to the sadboi song, taking you on a new heavenly journey that is more upbeat, heavy, and mesmerizing. Matt Maeson’s vocals are more enchanting and the added bass makes this remix a powerful one. His creative spin pretty much turns it into a brand new tune, showcasing his incredible remix skills. The drops echo the vocals and the added beats transition so well throughout the entire track. The best part is at the end where he keeps the piano notes but adds more to the orchestra feelsy ending.
This remix is next level and will continue to be on repeat for us. Having heard his new remix live already, this is one you will be dying to hear at his upcoming shows!
