Flux Pavilion’s genius production and love for all things music is what has transformed him into the legend he is today. Also known as Joshua Steele, Flux Pavilion is a singer-songwriter, record producer, and label owner that can also play the drums, guitar, saxophone, and piano, to say that he is uber-talented would be an understatement. It’s no wonder he’s earned a UK top 10 hit with Sway and garnered the attention of Kanye West and Jay Z when they sampled his dance floor anthem “I Can’t Stop.”

In the years following his debut album “Tesla,” he fleshed out the live Flux Pavilion experience including live guitar, synths, and singing which would naturally evolve into his next album .wav”, out now on Circus Records. After leaving his mark on the Dubstep scene, with this new album Flux Pavillion has started a new era where he is expanding on his iconic sound with the same trailblazing fire that brought us heaters like “Bass Cannon.”

Today, Flux expands on this analog journey with a remix of Whethan and Grouplove’sUpside Down.” The remix takes the original tune’s bouncy rhythm and slows it down, opening up the track’s already airy atmosphere and flooding it with even more warmth and good vibes. Flux Pavilion’s remix of “Upside Down” takes the tune from an alternative break-up banger to a dance ballad using lush synths and infectious rhythms.

This track is another step in a new sonic journey for Flux Pavilion, be sure to check out his remix of Whethan and Grouplove’s “Upside Down” and let us know what your thoughts are on our socials or in the comments below!
