Australian native, JP Orchison, has taken over the world in just three years with the Blanke project. His remarkable talent has gained him appearances with huge names in dance music like Insomniac, Deadbeats, Wakaan and Brownies & Lemonade. Accompanying both Illenium and Black Tiger Sex Machine on their 2019 tours, Blanke has reached just about every corner of the dance world, but he isn’t done just yet.
Despite the global pandemic, Blanke continued to work – releasing official remixes for SLANDER, Seven Lions, and Zeds Dead. All his hard work during lockdown paid off with the release of his “Change & Decay: The Fall” EP, which was highly acclaimed and met with praise.
Blanke has recently been dipping into Seven Lions’ world of Ophelia Records. Names such as Wooli, Crystal Skies, and Last Heroes reside within Ophelia Records and Blanke is the perfect addition to their roster. He recently appeared on Jason Ross’s new EP and then made his solo Ophelia with “Spark” featuring songstress Dia Frampton.
Blanke is causing earthquakes with his heavy new release “Boom.” This track was teased during Seven Lions’ recent Red Rocks show – garnering explosive support from those in attendance. This past weekend, for his first festival back since the pandemic started, Blanke showed us his powerful performing skills at Excision’s Bass Canyon. Starting quickly with an eerie aesthetic, Blanke unleashes heavy walls of sound in the first and second drops, set to leave listeners speechless with “Boom.”
