Formally known as Charlie Sahm, Player Dave grew up with a fascination for music. He explored various instruments including piano, bass, percussion, violin, and cello to appease his curiosity. Player Dave has used his passion for music to create his beat-driven, hip-hop-influenced, and psychedelic bass sound.

Today, he is unveiling his latest effort titled “Utopia”. Following his debut album, he remains true to his signature sound in this track including freeform bass and expressive driving beats. Player Dave is proving himself to be an artist you won’t want to miss out on by seamlessly transfiguring emotions into sound in all of his work.

Here’s what Player Dave had to say about the new single:

“I wanted to be sure that the first release after my album was a reflection of the direction I see my sound going and ‘Utopia’ is that.”

If you are loving this effort as much as we are, be sure to catch Player Dave while he hits the road with Rome in Silver and sumthin sumthin later this month! He will also perform a set in Phoenix at the Goldrush Music Festival on September 26th.
