Heard It Here First

If any bass duo has been making noise in 2021, it’s been Kyral x Banko. Back in March, the duo released their breakout EP “Snoitch“ on Wakaan. This was the beginning of a new world waiting to become unfolded. The boys fused trap and bass elements, taking listeners to an alternate universe. They also opened up a new cartoon-like storyline that goes beyond the music. The EP was a hit all over the bass community, and it propelled Kyral x Banko to new heights.

Today, they release the next chapter of the Snoitch mythos with a unique adventure on MorFlo Records. “Greenside / Beanside” offers listeners a tale of two worlds in Kyral x Banko’s cartoon universe. In turn, these tracks offer three unique moods for listeners to blast off and experience!

Choose Your Side

The duo kicks off this journey with the first portal, Greenside. This tune brings out all the stops with the experimental noises that get you moving and grooving like you never have before. Fans of the sound are sure to enjoy the basslines Greenside offers, leaving listeners with a permanent case of bass-face.

Immediately following is the second portal, Beanside. Kyral x Banko slow it down and show us the opposite side of the Greenside / Beanside EP. Rather than going for an upbeat, wub-filled voyage, they go down the rabbit hole with gnarly bass, deeper than the other side. Beanside is guaranteed to keep you at the edge of your seats throughout the whole listen.

They then close out the journey with Lost Space. Straying away from the typical craziness they unleash, Kyral x Banko dabble with halftime once again. They go off the rails to deliver a tune with a sense of calm, as the adventure comes to a satisfying end. The Greenside / Beanside story leaves you yearning for more as the duo absolutely crushed these three new and unique tracks. Here’s what they had to say about the new EP:

“It’s a true honor to present the sequel to the Snoitch EP… the Greenside / Beanside EP. Since we conceptualized the Snoitch universe both in illustration and sonically, we knew that this would be much more than a one-off EP.” – Kyral x Banko
