smith. is bringing the bass community back in time once again with his new single, “San Andreas.” Like many other artists, smith. gained a respectable following during the pandemic, but has continued to impress listeners with his unique and transformative application of the hip-hop classics that turned us all into music lovers in the first place.

The Missouri native has been on a mission this year. In June, he played for a sold-out crowd at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater alongside dubstep icon, Subtronics. In July, he delivered a punishing performance at Sound Haven Music Festival amidst other bass heavyweights like Mersiv, Ravenscoon, Jantsen, Meso, Smoakland, and many more. He is currently supporting PEEKABOO and Level Up on their respective tours. Also, in 2022, you can catch him opening on Subtronics’s Spring Fractal tour.

On “San Andreas”, smith. brings us back to the classic game, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which was a staple for mid-2000s gaming. The track is very much like the game itself. It captures a west-coast flow with a blisteringly criminal bass line that’s perfect for leaning back in your top-down Cadillac Eldorado, cruising down a coastal highway, and feeling dangerous. This tune will get the room bouncing in no time.
