You won’t get sick of Friendzone’s new single “Sick of You” featuring RUNN! This new track is on Insomniac Events’ new record label Lost In Dreams part of the Gateway Volume One compilation album. Get ready to play this on repeat as you dance your feelings away with this beautiful new single!

Friendzone is a duo from Texas that has been crushing the EDM scene recently with their releases and shows! They made their EDC debut this year at EDCLV’s Corona Electric Beach stage and they performed at Lost In Dream’s first ever music festival. Their recent tracks include“Glow In The Dark” featuring Nevve, also released on Lost In Dreams label,  “Overdrive” on Proximity’s first DMCA free compilation album, and their remix of Crystal Skies & JT Roach’s “Crazy While We’re Young”.

Not only do they produce music with a unique sound that is a fusion between pop, future bass, and trap, but their live sets also carry a unique, party-like atmosphere! Catch them at their LA debut at Avalon Hollywood nightclub next month and keep an ear out for “Sick of You” live!

RUNN’s beautiful vocals start off “Sick of You” with deep lyrics describing an addictive desire to want someone in a way that you shouldn’t. Wishful thinking, obsessive love, and separation pain are all emotions felt in this release and it becomes more powerful every second with added beats and synths. The drum kicks speed up to the first drop almost like your heart beating faster and faster when you see someone you love.

“Sick of You” is enticing and majestic, perfectly capturing the emotion of caring for someone so much that you just can’t let go of them, even if they are like a bad habit. The transitions from the vocals to the beats are perfectly aligned and Friendzone does a great job of showing emotion in their work yet again.
