The enigmatic rising star SuperAve. has been catching the attention of underground bass fans all over the country for the past couple of years. This week, he continued his impressive run with the release of his three-track Pull Up EP via Zeds Dead‘s Deadbeats.
2022 has been quite the breakout year for SuperAve. He’s gone on multiple tours with Jantsen and the Smoakland boys, while supporting Zeds Dead on several Deadbeats tour stops, topped off by a performance at Red Rocks as part of the legendary duo’s Deadrocks 8 weekend.
More recently, he threw down a crazy, bass-fueled set at Big Dub in Pennsylvania. This coming Fall, the talented producer will be playing at Wakaan Fest alongside an absurdly stacked lineup while also supporting Mersiv and Zeds Dead on multiple tour stops. Let us know if you’ve had a chance to catch one of his sets this year, we need one in our life ASAP!
This new release follows collaborative EPs with both Mersiv and Smoakland, as well as his contribution, “Rum,” to Morflo Records’ Reverberate compilation album that dropped last month.
The Pull Up EP is the latest example of heat in an arsenal of untapped greatness that runs VERY deep. Fans have already been ecstatic about the release of the intro track, “Step Up”, the highly-anticipated banger featured in SuperAve.’s “The Block Is Hot Vol. II” mix. This one gets us bouncing and grooving immediately. This is a good ol’ fashion smack-you-in-the-face heater that’s a perfect start to this brand new Deadbeats assisted project.
The second track, “Glow”, slows things down a little, but still maintains a similar level of hype, adding in these fat, acid-sounding stabs with a dynamic drum flow. Another immediate get-down. SuperAve. caps off this EP with “Lute Pt.1″, a journey to a faraway land that leaves us riding off into the sunset of a desert paradise. Once again, we are reminded of the range that this talented producer possesses as we are fortunate to get a glimpse into his vault of gems.
