Where are our Riddim Rats at? One of the sub-genres’ hottest rising stars is linking up with one of the biggest electronic labels there is for a wicked new single. Dr. Ushūu is bringing fans his new melodic riddim masterpiece “Love Me,” out now through Monstercat.

Dr. Ushūu is a French dubstep prodigy who has been attracting attention and turning the heads of some of the biggest names in the bass music world. With releases on Disciple, Subsidia, and Dim Mak, it’s clear this young producer has big things to come.

Huge artists have dropped his tunes in the past, ranging from Martin Garrix to Excision to Nicky Romero. Additionally, he is a favorite of Chime’s Rushdown Records, which focuses on the future riddim/melodic bass sub-genres. He was also just announced as part of the 2023 lineup for the iconic Belgian festival Rampage in March.

For “Love Me,” Dr. Ushūu is bringing out all of the stops for some diabolical dubstep madness. The 23-year-old artist has a huge future ahead and that is crystal clear with the release of his new single. Here’s what he had to say about it:

“‘Love Me’ is a love song which I wrote when I was broken-hearted. It led me to work on a style I’ve never worked on before. The UK vibes that we get in this track come from all the songs that I listened to when I was broken-hearted and helped me get through that rough patch.” – Dr. Ushūu
