Mikes Revenge is an ATL hybrid trap act that has received tons of attention in the mainstream dubstep world. Their tracks have been heavily rinsed out by Excision at his Lost Lands and Bass Canyon festivals and by tons of other DJs across the world.
Mikes Revenge has also released official tunes on Excision’s Subsidia label and has loads of massive SoundCloud edits, revamping tunes like Skrillex and Missy Elliot’s viral collab “Ratata,” John Summit’s festival anthem “Where You Are,” and Excision and Wooli’s neck-breaking banger “Titans.”
Today, Mike’s Revenge is colliding with one of the most enthusiastic and enticing EDM vocalists in the game, Frankie Sinn! Also based out of Atlanta, Georgia, Sinn has provided bars for dubstep tunes from the likes of Hekler, Chozen, and tons more talented bass artists.
Now, the two ATL staples are linking up for a monstrous new release dubbed “Top That.” The new collaborative tune comes to fans from the highly esteemed Subcarbon Records, founded by Ganja White Night. The label helped propel dubstep phenoms like Subtronics, Boogie T, Dirt Monkey, Jantsen, and many more into the limelight. We are absolutely gassed to see Mikes Revenge and Frankie Sinn make appearances on the wub-friendly release hub.
On “Top That,” Mikes Revenge and Frankie Sinn are bringing out all the stops. Starting off with an ominous build-up ahead of Sinn’s vigorous vocal performance, this track eventually drops into trapped-out madness. The drop hits like a piano falling twenty stories, utilizing both EDM trap stylings as well as low-end, heavy bass frequencies. We absolutely love how Mike’s Revenge perfectly blends the lines between dubstep and trap.
