Hospital Records has been in the game for a long time now, always pushing fresh and forward-thinking drum and bass sounds. Over the course of its time, it’s been a home for artists like Netsky, Fred V, Danny Byrd, Flava D, P Money X Whiney, Winslow, S.P.Y., and countless other legendary names. Bringing the culture and love to the South East London area, and far beyond it, Hospital Records has always been, and will always be, a treasure amongst DnB listeners.

The label recently celebrated a huge milestone at the end of March, FIVE HUNDRED releases! What an absolute feat and they celebrated how they know best, by putting out a massive compilation full of some of Drum and Bass’s brightest and most OG to the beloved genre, simply titled 500. The twenty-three-track compilation features artists like SOLAH, Rohaan x MRSA, Makoto, Urbandawn x Alibi, Degs, a Graxif remix of Netsky x Hybrid Minds “Let Me Hold You,”  and countless more.

No matter what mood you’re in, Hospital 500 has something for each and every emotion. Uplifting tracks like Logistic’s “Belonging,” and Fred V and Hamza’s “Freefall” or more breakbeat ones like “Lazy Hardcore” from Unglued, Whiney, and Lens. 500 is a beautiful release that perfectly highlights what Hospital Records is all about, and the artists that have impacted it over the years. Cheers to the next five hundred releases and many more after that.

From beginning to end, the 500 compilation is a journey through the years and a peak at everything that’s to come. Listen now on your preferred music platform and let us know which tracks are your favorite in the comments!
