Runnit leaves destruction in his wake with wonky and bass-heavy new EP, “Triple Decker,” which is a three track project that has been released on Disciple Round Table, the esteemed dubstep hub. “Triple Decker” is Runnit’s debut on Disciple and we are excited to see him go heavier with today’s release.

Runnit has been on the scene dropping heavy hitters since 2017. The skilled producer has collaborated with well-known artists such as TVBOO, Shanghai Doom, and XTALS, and we can only imagine that he has more insane collaborations in the works for us. Runnit draws inspiration from trap and neurohop to bring us elements of bouncy trap and heavy bass in all of his creations that will have you getting down on the dancefloor with your squad. We know we certainly will be while listening to this new EP!

The first track on Runnit’s EP, “Drumstick,” is a strong opening to the project and it gives a sonic experience that can only be described as wonky, distorted, and glitchy in the best way possible. Set at 130-BPM, this new tune provides the perfect tempo to set off the rest of the EP and have fans wanting more.

The second banger, “Triple Icicle,” starts off with a darker feel and builds with minimal hip-hop lyrics, before dropping into a hot metallic beat that will have you reaching to turn the sound all the way up to eleven. “Triple Icicle” is three minutes of suspenseful and ominous madness.

The final tune, “Won’t Stop,” is a fire collaboration with the sensational bass producer Hairitage as well as frequent Runnit collaborator Dexter Fizz on vocals. The blend of mechanical bass-driven sounds from Runnit and Hairitage mesh seamlessly to create an absolutely destructive track to close out the EP. It’s evident that both producers brought their A-game to leave their listeners wanting more. This one is certain to be a festival favorite.

Check out with Runnit had to say about his new Disciple-assisted EP:

“These songs are some of my favorite sounds I’ve made recently. The two solo tracks were outcomes of me challenging myself to make a whole drop inside one synth. Often artists create their strongest works when limitations are placed on them, and I use this tactic a lot when I’m going through rough patches – and did with this EP.” – Runnit

Runnit is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned within the electronic dance world and has been cranking out singles, EPs, and new show announcements like crazy. We are so excited to see what the future holds for this dynamic, multi-genre Baltimore producer.
