Up-and-coming artists smol and ZURGLIN bring the funky bassy heat with their new track “I Like Yu“, out now on Gravitas Recordings.

The good people at Gravitas have a strong-seeded history of supporting incredibly talented underground artists, and this work is no exception. ZURGLIN has a busy festival season, holding it down at Altitude Music Festival, Bass in the Bush, and Friendzy Fest Music Festival. In addition to creating tasty beats, smol has a passion for food and cooking — you can check out some of his creations on his foodie page @smolseats. Their new Gravitas-assisted track, “I Like Yu,” is a homage to smol’s label “DoYu”

Light and airy sounds ease listeners into the track, with building beats kicking in leading you to the apex. The wub-fueled bassline takes over, further complimented by a stylistic peppering of glitchy accents. A groovy guitar riff adds another flavor towards the end of the work, rounding out this fantastic voyage.
