The talented genre-defying bass producer, Meduso, delivers his new single “Drive You Mad,” which seamlessly blends metal, rock, and bass music together to create an insane four-minute sonic experience.

Meduso’s new single comes hot off the tracks of his official remix for SoDown‘s tune “Makin’ Dem,” and he is steadily gaining traction in the electronic world as a producer to watch out for. Meduso, who hit the scene in 2020, has been inspired to draw progressive rock influences into his sound, which he showcased on his debut album, Yugen, that same year. The Los Angeles-based producer continues to push the boundaries of genres and categorization, and “Drive You Mad” is a testament to his skill and dedication to just that. Meduso also conceptualizes and creates all of the visuals and merchandise for his project himself, proving that his creativity knows no bounds.

“Drive You Mad” is a mind-warping buildup of heavy guitar riffs that flawlessly connect with deep bass lines. It eventually unleashes into pure madness when the track reaches its peak soundscape experience. This tune blurs the lines beautifully between metal and bass music and is sure to please fans of both genres. “Drive You Mad” goes HARD, and we’re so ready to blast this in our car, with our squad, or at the gym – and we definitely expect to hear it played out at our favorite dubstep and bass festivals this summer.

Meduso also made an appearance on the HIHF guest mix series in 2021, you can check out that Vibrational Odyssey mix here. He even designed the flyer art for the 2021 edition of our Cabin Fever Fest fundraiser, which you can check out here. The artist is extremely talented and we know there are only big things ahead for this rapidly moving rising star!
