The boys are back! Zeds Dead and Funkin Matt have teamed up to drop a new saucy house heater, “Levitate feat. Soul Edge,” on Zeds Dead’s Altered States Label. Zeds Dead has been on fire this summer with both events and new releases. Whether they’re taking over Denver for the Fourth of July weekend, or bringing the fire to New York with the Deadbeats takeover that is taking place this weekend at the Brooklyn Mirage, as always, Zeds Dead is putting in the work and having fun while doing it.

“Levitate” is a noteworthy release on the Altered States Label as it demonstrates Zeds Dead’s abilities to effortlessly produce bangers in a variety of different genres. Altered States was founded by Zeds Dead in 2021 to exist as a home for artists to feel free to express their most dreamy work in downtempo, house, and techno stylings. Altered States is making its way to become a staple in the house genre as a place for fans to discover new genre-bending songs from on the rise talent.

Funkin Matt is an inventive electronic music producer known for his melodic and pulse-raising tracks, and his pairing with the dynamic duo that is Zeds Dead makes for a house banger that transcends genre barriers. They’ve also teamed up in the past for their infectious collabs “Deeper” and “Feel So”.

“Levitate” is light, melodic, and otherworldly in its vocals, flowing synths, and smooth drops. It’s truly the perfect follow-up to their past collaborations and we’d love to see these artists team up even more! “Levitate” is verified to elevate the vibes and we can’t wait to hear it played out at ALL the house shows and festivals for the rest of the summer.
