Fryar is a name we love to support here at HIHF. The producer is well known for his distorted and dubious soundscapes, crafting all sorts of monstrous bangers in subgenres of experimental bass, DnB, and heavy dubstep. His collaborative Paradise EP with Mersiv is one of our all-time favorite releases on Liquid Stranger‘s Wakaan label and we are so excited to see what’s to come for the rising star.
In 2022, the artist took a year-long hiatus, focusing on personal growth instead of his artistic project. In 2023, he’s back in action, today with his second release of the year and since the hiatus.
Today, Fryar brings fans some absolute savagery with his new single “Green Eyes”. The track effortlessly flows through the mind of Fryar’s production stylings, showcasing the chilled-out, effervescent sounds he can concoct as well as the heavy-hitting beats.
Here’s what Fryar had to say about the distorted new tune “Green Eyes:”
“This is the second single I’ve dropped since coming back from my one year hiatus. I can’t explain how happy and excited I am to be back and hearing from friends and you guys, the listeners. I’m a simp for green eyes, they are my favorite. I tried to make this track feel exciting and beautiful, kind of how I feel about green eyes. The album is coming, and I secured a show to play this year, my first show back. I have in mind live shows when creating this album and the energy I want to translate well to that setting. It’s so much fun. – Fryar
