In 2023, Smoakland has the dubstep game in a chokehold. The rough and rowdy Bay Area duo has become well-known for their high-energy dubstep performances, opening for some of the biggest names in the genre like Zeds Dead, Big Gigantic, Mersiv, and Jantsen.

After years of releasing on esteemed labels like Deadbeats and MorFlo, as well as collaborations with fellow rising stars like Ravenscoon, Kumarion, SuperAve, Sully, and tons more, the Smoakland boys are finally bringing fans their debut album!

Today, Smoakland is unveiling their new album, STAY IN YOUR LANE…! Fans are overjoyed to be getting eleven fresh tracks from the festival-favorite dubstep duo. The album features Tiedye Ky, Luma, Chuuwee, and Amanda Movio.

Starting things off for STAY IN YOUR LANE is “Mind If I Smoke” featuring an impressive vocal performance by Chuuwee. Smoakland cooks up a filthy new stoner’s anthem.

“That’s What I’m Talking About” brings out heavy percussion and in-your-face synths that have become a staple of Smoakland’s discography. Following that banger is the title track, which is a testament to pushing past genre boundaries. It’s almost as if this track is just a big ‘F*** You’ to anyone who recommends artists just stick to their genre lanes.

“Look What You’ve Done” is another change of pace for Smoakland, trading in heavy and boisterous for harrowing and melodic. “Never Go Back” continues that genre-defying mastery and takes fans on a low-end, emotional DnB/halftime journey.

“Falling Again” features the always enchanting voice of Tiedye Ky, which leads into exquisite and spellbinding trap plucks courtesy of the two big-brained production acts.

“Borrowed Time” is a feelsy and foggy DnB number that could easily be mixed in to Smoakland’s Liquid Smoak performances. With vocals from Amanda Movio, this track is soothing and refreshing. Smoakland really just dominates any sub-genre they choose to take on.

“You Got It,” “Hella Cold,” and “All In My Head” revert back to that classic Smoakland energy, and the STAY IN YOUR LANE… album closes out with another magnificent and melancholy track, “Rain In the Shadows.” It’s a cinematic closing to this debut album and the perfect cap to an Smoakland’s incredible journey in sound.
