This Saturday, January 20th, The Black Box in Denver is hosting yet another stacked event with Sub.mission featuring Canada’s finest bass legends, Abstrakt Sonance and Wraz, and Denver local, Soggy Noize. Prepare to be immersed in deep, sub-low frequencies and dark, atmospheric vibrations as these producers are known for crafting quality material for the sound system.

Bass music lovers gather weekly to experience the array of talent and genres that The Black Box brings time and time again. Known as one of the most important venues for the underground and a favorite amongst artists across the world, The Black Box never fails to deliver genre-defying shows and unforgettable experiences for attendees. With its Funktion-One speakers and open lounge that showcases all types of artists and collectives, The Black Box is an ideal spot for the community to connect and share appreciation.

Next week is another mad lineup for lovers of the underground and that deep 140 dubstep. Coming all the way from Canada, Abstrakt Sonance is a boundary pushing producer known for his rhythmic undertones and raw emotion in his tracks. Pushing the gritty UK sound and deep dubstep movement for over ten years, Abstrakt Sonance has graced legendary locations such as Shambhala, Red Rocks, and Outlook. His bass-heavy frequencies have also garnered support from esteemed labels such as Hatched, Deep Dark & Dangerous, and Sentry Records. Do not miss a chance to see this tastemaker shell down on the box!

Leaving an undeniable mark on the dub scene already, Canadian producer, Wraz, will also be delivering his harmonic halftime beats and groove on the drums. His skillful melding of UK-style distortions and basslines have landed him at major festivals including Shambhala and Sound Haven. His latest EP, Akuma, out on Deep, Dark, & Dangerous, is a perfect testament to the deep rhythm focus and sub-low bass of the Wraz sound. Wraz and Abstrakt Sonance also just recently released their collaborative EP, Out Of The Woods, that blends the high-energy and quality textures of the duo’s styles. Make sure to study up on tracks like “Swarm” and “Anglar,” to get a taste of what’s to come in these highly-anticipated sets at The Black Box.

Joining these creators is Soggy Noize, who is making huge waves and turning heads across the Denver bass scene. His groovy vibrations and mixing style has found him on lineups playing support for some of the city’s most beloved artists including, Pheel and ShwiLLy.
