The two dubstep all-stars Hairitage and Jantsen have combined their boisterous sounds on their new, earth-shattering single “Gettin Money,” released on Liquid Stranger‘s Wakaan. Jantsen’s timeless and hefty bass can be experienced on many tracks from legendary labels such as SubCarbon Records, Circus Records, Bassrush, Deadbeats, and Subsidia. His latest release, “Champion Sound” with TVBOO, has been smashing dancefloors and sound systems across the country. Hairitage has also been on fire this year, with tons of releases so far, his most recent being the destructive collab “Ricochet” with legendary masked DJs Black Tiger Sex Machine.
“Gettin Money” utilizes female vocals and absolutely rancid bass combined for the first drop, alongside Jantsen’s iconic growl in the latter half that will surely get you moving. The track then seamlessly blends the different vocals into the second drop, which features a stuttering bass for an extra wobbly, heavy effect. “Gettin Money” is a true stomper that makes you feel like you’re making it rain bills in a sea of headbangers. We couldn’t ask for a better display of masterful production and raw dubstep talent from Jantsen and Hairitage, this one is certain to be a festival favorite and be played out on stages across the country!
Here’s what Hairitage had to say about working with Jantsen on their new collaboration track “Gettin Money:”
“Jantsen isn’t just the kind of artist you look up to — he’s a true ride-or-die, the kind of friend anyone would be lucky to have. This track might be all about that money-talk energy, but for me, it represents a long history. When I was first starting out, Jantsen was someone I looked up to, and over the years, he’s supported me and believed in my project. Now, we finally have a massive slapper coming your way!” – Hairitage
This new banger has been making waves in the scene, and with festival season in full swing, there are plenty of opportunities for ravers to hear “Gettin Money” at a Hairitage or Jantsen set. Hairitage will be performing at Royale Boston with Jessica Audifredd and Ace Aura tomorrow night June 20th, then at Soundcheck in Washington, DC June 26th, and then at Bass Canyon Music Festival in August at the iconic Gorge Amphitheatre to round out his summer. As for Jantsen, he has upcoming festival bookings at Coconino Campout in Flagstaff, Arizona, and Excision‘s Lost Lands Music Festival in Legend Valley, Ohio.
