Heard It Here First

With all this cold weather, I am seriously craving something that reminds me of Summer. And like usual, Swedish duo Galantis have answered my wish. Teaming up with American Rock group OneRepublic, they have released a tropical-tinged track capable of scaring off any of your polar vortex blues. This isn’t OneRepublics’ first stint on an EDM track, they’ve worked with the likes of Alesso and Kygo in the past on smash multi-genre collabs.

“Bones” features strong influences from pop rock, including folksy singing and strummed guitar from Ryan Tedder and the band. Not to be outdone by their partners, Galantis lays down a powerful, summery rhythm guaranteed to get you moving. The blend of electronic influences with Americana/Folk is highly reminiscent of “Hey Brother” by the late great Avicii.
