HIHF Playlists: Best of February 2019

Topping off our February playlist is a massive link up from Khalid and Disclosure. The two connected on Khalid’s “Talk“, which was heavily featured in Apple commercials on Grammy Sunday. Next on the list is RL Grime’s highly anticipated collab with graves — who we had the chance to interview earlier this month. After that, we’ve got Parker’s epic rework of The Chainsmokers’ “Hope” and Lane 8’s cerebral remix of Virtual Self’s Grammy-nominated “Ghost Voices“.

Big Wild’s Superdream album was a big standout for me from February. Honestly, I should have included more tracks from it but just listen to it all the way through. Superdream is perfect for any occasion, whether it’s trying to grind out some studying or kicking back after a long week. Another big electronic release in February was Liquid Stranger’s Infinity album. The Wakaan label head’s thirty track album includes bangers he’s been playing in his sets for years as well and boasted features from the likes of Dion Timmer, Leah Culver, Chee, sfam, and many more.

If you’re looking for something chill to add to your study or work playlists, there are loads of tracks on here for all sorts of different ears. If you’re searching for something more light, check out Medasin’s new track, “Mr. Skitters“, or Justice Skolnik’s new Odesza remix. If you’re more into that downtempo, bass-y goodness, check out the new Yheti, Shlump, and SubDocta.

EDM/Pop goddess Elohim makes two appearances on the playlist, both with her new super-catchy original “TV” and her collab “Holding Hands” with Quinn XCII.

Looking for something heavy? Check out YOOKiE and Hekler’s brand new heater of a collab “Wraith“. Also, be sure to peep INZO’s new track “Spectrum“. We’ve shot for him in the past and he’s definitely an on the rise name that continues to stand out. Other neck-breakers include Boogie T’s “Money“, Space Laces’ “Phone Tap“, Tynan’s “Ing“,  and the long-awaited Peekaboo remix of Zeds Dead & Jauz’s “Lights Go Down“.

Now–If you’re looking for that sort of Rezz sounding, glitchy-midtempo type track. We’ve got tons of that. Check out new music below from Ekali & 1788-L, Blanke, Hex Cougar, Pixel Terror, and more.
