DROELOE, KLOUD, and Rock Mafia Bring Their Own Creative Spins to Illenium’s “Crashing”

Illenium loves to give other musical talents a chance at taking on his tunes and creates some unique remixes himself. You can check out Hex Cougar’s remix of Illenium’s “God Damnit and Illenium’s remix of Halsey’s “Without Me. The original version of Illenium’s “Crashing” featured indie pop duo, Bahari, and was released early 2019. This week Illenium released a remix pack of the collab including remixes from DROELOE, KLOUD, and Rock Mafia.

The bitbird pair’s remix showcases their distinct DROELOE sound with idiophone chimes and a quick snare drum beat. KLOUD again touches his signature sound in his remix with a deeper, darker Bass take. Rock Mafia, a team that Bahari has worked with in the past, is a production duo who have worked with many other huge EDM acts like Diplo, Zedd, and Tiesto. They created a simplified version of the track, one more electronic driven opposed to instrumental like the original. The remix pack also contains a stripped version of the track where an acoustic guitar and piano highlight the beautiful vocals from Bahari.

Listen below to these unique remixes and see which flows best with your musical taste.
