TVBOO has been BUSY over the course of the past year. His podcast, TVLKS w/ TVBOO, has become one of the most popular interview series in the EDM scene and he has been cranking out non-stop heat on labels like Wakaan and Deadbeats. Last weekend, he demolished the Eclipse Stage at Tampa’s Sunset Music Festival, and for a mid-afternoon set, the crowd was MASSIVE!

Today, the ragin’ cajun is linking up with rapper and vocalist Kevin Flum for a brand new link-up. Returning to Liquid Stranger’s Wakaan label, “X2” features vicious lyricism and dubious and wobbly bass production. It’s another example of the filthy production prowess TVBOO is becoming well known for.

This follows TVBOO’s self-released slapper “Goku”, released about a month ago, as well as his Wakaan-assisted collaboration with CHOMPPA, “Drugs!”. Here’s what he had to say about “X2”:

“When I was making the beat for ‘X2,’ I knew I wanted to get a rapper on it. I made a list of people I thought were dope, then someone showed me Kevin’s music and I instantly knew he was the guy. I loved his sound so much, I straight up threw away my list cause I knew Kevin would fit this track LIKE A GLOVE. I brought the bass, he brought the flow, and the troops brought the freedom. Praise Dale.” —TVBOO
