TVBOO is no stranger to Heard It Here First. We have covered pretty much every single release of his since we interviewed him back in early 2019. Since then, we have seen his growth towards becoming one of the bass world’s biggest stars. His comedic career is also budding; He hosts his own TVLKS w/ TVBOO podcast and has also performed comedy/stand-up sets at festivals across the country.

Today, TVBOO is linking up with one of the hottest up-and-comers on the scene. CHOMPPA brings the assist on their new collab “Drugs!”, which samples the infamous “Drugs are bad Mmkay” courtesy of Mr. Mackey from South Park.

CHOMPPA is a DMV producer/DJ who has been making tons of noise the past year. He headlined his own virtual festival on Electric Hawk‘s Twitch channel. Before quarantine, he was booked for loads of summer festivals, ranging from Shambhala to Phoenix Lights to Elements to SCamp. He also released his debut Flabbergast EP through Zeds Dead‘s Deadbeats label. This impressive Maryland native has some huge accomplishments under his belt in a very short period of time and we believe he’s got a huge future ahead of him.

This ID was played in multiple mixes and live streams throughout quarantine. The official version of the tune is finally here and comes to us through Liquid Stranger’s ever-growing Wakaan label.

“Drugs!” is the type of banger that’s gonna have you running through walls. Featuring diabolical synths and heavy-hitting bass, this massive collaboration between two serious talents is the perfect addition to any bass music or dubstep fan’s music library. We have been fiending this tune for a while now and can’t wait to add it to our own personal playlists.
