It’s clear Redrum is a force to be reckoned with. In a short period of time, she’s gained support from some of the biggest forces in bass music, ranging from Subsidia to Electric Hawk to Wakaan. She also performed at Insomniac’s Forbidden Kingdom festival alongside fellow Wakaan mainstays like Liquid Stranger, Luzcid, Sully, MIZE, and loads more!
A few weeks back, she unveiled her new single off Wakaan’s sister label, SSKWAN, their home for all things downtempo. The chilling release “Phases” was the perfect taste for what’s in store from the quickly budding producer.
Today, she follows up “Phases” with “Floating”, another gorgeous, soothing track from the North West producer. It’s an emotional release for Redrum and she didn’t think it would ever see the light of day. Check out what the young artist had to say about today’s release:
“’Floating’ is probably my personal favorite off the EP. I wrote it almost two years ago on the plane home from my dad’s funeral without having the intention of ever releasing it, I’m so happy it’s coming out and I hope it brings at least one person some comfort the way it did for me while writing it.” – Redrum
