DJ and bass music producer from Los Angeles California, FLY, just a new boundary-pushing track titled “Phantom” that will leave you absolutely speechless.

The underground bass scene continues to produce new and exciting prospects that could one day be the future of the greater bass/dubstep scene. Artists such as Mersiv, Mize, Space Wizard, and EAZYBAKED originated in the underground bass scene and have now found themselves the current wave of bass-music artists, selling out huge shows and opening for names like STS9, Subtronics, GRiZ, Zeds Dead, and other huge names in electronic music.

FLY and many others are poised to be in a similar position if they keep pumping out tunes like this. The underground is thriving right now and with artists like FLY at the forefront, you can expect more big things, and even more importantly, big tunes, from the underground’s finest.

To start things off, “Phantom” introduces us to a dark atmosphere that you can feel as though you are floating through an empty void. As the build-up creeps in and the breakdown of the tune hits, we are left with a gritty-deep-experimental pass pattern that includes glitchy fills and vocal samples. This one is sure to fit like a puzzle piece into any DJ’s bass-fueled performance.

Overall, “Phantom” is an excellent phaser-filled track that deserves your attention. Between his own production prowess, releases off Bassrush, Wakaan, and Cyclops Recordings, and also collaborating with fellow up-and-coming names like Vide, Abelation, Player Dave, and more, we know FLY has a massive future ahead of him.
