As the bass community grows, so does the propensity for even more new and different music to occur. MeSo and Tripzy Leary are here to prove that this week with a wonky, alien bass single sure to blow your brain cell’s minds.
MeSo has been slaying the bass scene lately, playing his own shows, promoting his Spicy Bois collective, and creating Muze Talent, a talent agency built by artists, for artists. Tripzy Leary has been equally as hard at work, with a number of new singles released this year, after kicking off 2021 with his Project Rainbow EP.
The combination that bass music needed, Tripzy Leary and MeSo combined forces to deliver on their new track “Bassx”. A delicious wonky bass morsel, this tune is sure to tingle the eardrums of bass lovers and leave listeners eager for more from these two.
This track combines a menagerie of stylistic bass influences to create a tune that is as complex as it is enjoyable to listen to. The synths seem to vibrate at an alien-esque consistency, with the assertive bassline there to drive the track right along. Glitches and blips sprinkled throughout add to it without overstimulating the listener, creating a bass bop sure to be played over and over again on repeat. From two titans of the underground bass world, this track is nothing to disappoint; another gold star to add to their books.
The incredible artwork for this single was created by @cierrajl.art; it is as beautifully complex as this song is. Go check out her page to dazzle your eyes even more!
