Halloween is weeks away, and that means it’s almost time for the best event of October! Live music, unique art, and multiple live musicians are coming to Florida for spooky season once again this year.
Suwannee Hulaween is preparing for their eighth annual music and arts festival at the Suwannee Music Park + Campground located in Live Oak, FL. We are so excited to head down south to check it out this coming Halloween weekend and are looking forward to getting down with an insane lineup of talented artists from all over the genre spectrum.
For many years, Hulaween has provided a safe haven for those seeking peace and love amongst a community of music and art. The festival is renowned for its incredible music production, genre diversity, and perfect location since 2013 when it all started.
Hulaween offers us one of the most diverse lineups of 2021, featuring genres ranging from bluegrass, rock, electronica, dubstep, pop, DnB, and more. Not only does Hulaween feature incredible music acts, the festival will also offer platforms to various live painters, live artists, and many workshops. Get ready to learn, listen, and experience it all!

Five Must-See Electronic Acts
Skrillex
Skrillex might be one of the most exciting acts on the lineup, being an OG in the dubstep world and having new music to offer from 2021, including new collabs with the likes of Justin Bieber, Noisia, Swae Lee, and more. This electronic phenom started his career in 2010 and has excelled in every corner of the music industry since. Skrillex has shined a light on dubstep for over ten years, we can’t wait to see his headlining set at Hula!
This Canadian electronic act will be delivering some of the most exciting bass music of the weekend, offering tons of new music from this year with genres ranging from house to DnB to dubstep. The duo has already been touring the country recently in 2021 on their Deadbeats Reunion tour, including two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheater and performances at Ezoo and North Coast Music Festival. The duo has a one of a kind B2B with GRiZ at GoldRush Fest in Arizona planned as well. Zed’s Dead at Hulaween will be nothing short of legendary!
The Floozies offer a unique live experience given by two brothers with a love for funk and electronica. Their sets feature live guitar and drums with incredibly vibrant electronic beats that get the crowd moving. The Floozies’ sets are never the same and they always keep things fresh. Don’t miss this one.
You cannot miss LSDREAM, as his sets are known to take listeners on a magical journey of self-exploration. LSDREAM’s incredible talent has been shining bright in 2021, with multiple single releases and many live performances. LSDREAM has played tons of fests in 2021 already, ranging from Summer Camp to EZoo to Sunset Music Fest, and we are so excited to see what he has in store for this next one!
Manic Focus is another unique, can’t miss set! This act showcases a live band with instruments including guitar, drums, and trumpet all whilst delivering original electronic beats. Manic Focus has released tracks in the past with renowned artists including GRiZ, Russ Liquid, and Dominic Lalli of Big Gigantic. You can feel the roots of soul, funk, and hip-hop in each and every Manic Focus track. Catch Manic Focus to see a one-of-a-kind electronic set!
The masterminds of it all, The String Cheese Incident created Hulaween in 2013. This invigorating live band features seven band members and mind-boggling production techniques you can hear within their sound. The String Cheese Incident has kept folks moving on their feet since 1993 at festivals like The Peach, Electric Forest, and tons more. Don’t miss out on the OG’s!
The Magic City Hippies specialize in a melting pot of funk, pop, beach-bum soul, and hip-hop, giving them the self-proclaimed genre of ‘indie-funk.’ Magic City Hippies give off the feelings of an electronic dance party, blended into the beautiful sounds of live instruments. This is a band that delivers immense energy to its attendees and one we seriously recommend you catch live.
This band exists in a couple places at once, being both a rock and bluegrass band. Greensky Bluegrass plays acoustic instruments, focuses on extended improvisation, and delivers a rock ‘n roll show. The band has been touring all across the United States during the summer of 2021, from Colorado all the way to North Carolina, and they have now expanded their tour throughout the fall season into November. Greensky Bluegrass is scheduled to play numerous festivals in the coming months including 4848 Festival and Strings & Sol Festival. They will appear at Red Rocks Amphitheater for three consecutive performances in September as well. Don’t miss this uber-uber-talented band come Hulaween!
Leon Bridges delivers feelings that are straight from the heart. Leon Bridges brings 1950’s-60’s southern soul music back into the 21st century. Leon Bridges kicks off his “Gold-Diggers Sound” tour this week and will continue to tour through the states into the middle of 2022. He is bringing many special guests along for his tour including Abraham Alexander, The Marias, and Chiiild. We are eager to see their performance at Hulaween! Amongst his incredible lyrics and soul-touching voice – you will not want to miss this beautiful live show.
An incredible live rock band that delivers covers of The Grateful Dead, these guys know how to put on a show. Joe Russo’s Almost Dead has been selling out shows for their unique performance since 2013. Many attendees of their shows say that it makes perfect sense why it’s “almost dead.” If you are a deadhead, this show is can’t miss. Even if not, you will wanna check out what this exhilarating rock act has to offer.
