Austeria is a DMV-based producer who we’ve had our eyes on for a while now. We have hosted her multiple times in the past, ranging from our live streams to an exclusive guest mix. This year, she has made her stamp in the scene, creating music that ranges from heavy dubstep to experimental bass. It has led to opening slots on PEEKABOO‘s tour, as well as her first festival appearance at Yonderville.

We teamed up with Austeria for a HIHF premiere of her next huge tune. “Get Fucked” is a part of the forthcoming Skull Vision compilation, “Perception”, out in full tomorrow. This is an absolute heavy hitter of a dubstep tune, and it’s guaranteed to knock your socks off from beginning to end!

Austeria starts us off with a melodic entrance to set the tone. Heavy percussions are followed as momentum picks up. Not even a minute in, Austeria launches you into outer space with basslines that send you into orbit. All the way through, you are given plenty of fire-power that will put you at the edge of your seat. It shows what Austeria is capable of, and leaves you wanting more from this DMV favorite.

This is another major tune from the rising superstar. Here’s what she had to say about it:

“For this track, I was actually watching a TV show and a character jumped through a window exclaiming “get fucked!” And I immediately paused the show, sampled it, and started writing the track. I knew I wanted her to be heavy, and so I just started layering my own serum patches until it sounded cool and then dabbled in some resampling of the serum sounds. I actually let the track sit for about a year, and then completely revamped it for release. I was able to apply everything I’d learned to make her shine and I am so proud of how she turned out!

Alex, the founder of Skull Vision, is a homie and he’s so passionate about uplifting cutting-edge bass music. I believe in him and Skull Vision, so I was happy to work with him on this release. It’s important to support good, genuine people in this industry.” – AUSTERIA
