Leotrix is back on Never Say Die with a dazzling and forward-thinking future riddim project, the Reload EP. The Australian producer has been on an absolute tear the last couple of years, releasing festival-ready bangers on some more of the biggest labels in dubstep such as Disciple, Gud Vibrations, and NIGHTMODE.
It’s been rare to hear a set these days without a Leotrix tune thrown into the mix. He has received support from the likes of Excision, Zomboy, NGHTMRE, Zeds Dead, Virtual Riot, and countless others. It’s no surprise that Leotrix is continuing to climb his way up the ladder as one of the most in-demand young prospects in dubstep. While most of his touring has taken place in Australia, expect to see Leotrix’s name on the festival circuit in Asia, Europe, and the United States in the near future. Notably, he’ll be performing at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival this March.
The Reload EP is yet another example of Leotrix’s unstoppable combination of unique sound design, vibey melodies and diverse drops. One minute you’re ready to run through a brick wall while getting down to “Rebellion Dub”, and then suddenly you’re ascending to the dreamy sequence of “Can’t Sleep Alone At Night”.
The intro track, “Good”, should actually be titled “Great”. The tune combines both the heavy and vibey aspects of Leotrix’s sound range in jaw-dropping breaks. The fourth and final track, “Reload,” is yet another impressive display of Leotrix’s unmatched flow. Each track feels unique within the project, making this EP one that you will keep coming back to over and over again.
We can’t wait to hear what’s next from the Aussie dubstep prodigy. What did you think of the new Reload EP from Leotrix? Let us know down below in the comments or on our social media!
