Seven Lions and Blastoyz are back for an epic new anthem featuring ERV ELLO! They are returning with their second collaboration, titled “Reason For Fighting,” which will take you on both a melodic and psytrance journey. They played it live together at Insomniac’s Beyond Wonderland festival and since then we have been anxiously awaiting this release!
Released on his own Ophelia Records, Seven Lions continues to dominate the melodic dubstep world. His label has released so many heaters, of course including their first collaboration, “Afer Dark” alongside Blastoyz and a stunning vocal performance from Fiora.
Known for his psytrance laced dubstep, Blastoyz has released on other huge labels such as Armada Music and played the biggest dance music fests in the world including Tomorrowland and EDC Las Vegas. Just like Seven Lions, he also has his own independent label, WELVRAVE, which is partnered with Create Music Group.
“Reason For Fighting” is a track you need to hear live so catch Blastoyz live on his High On Acid Tour this year and Seven Lions at Insomniac’s Project Glow at DC’s RFK stadium later this month!
“Reason For Fighting” starts with ERV ELLO’s vocals expressing love and want from a significant other. The lyrics make you feel alone but at the same time give you the strength to do whatever it takes to be with the person you love and truly belong with. A psytrance beat as strong as a gust of wind rushes through leaving the listener exhilarated. The single transitions from many different drops, changing the tempo just like the speed of your heartbeat whilst fighting for a relationship. It gets faster and faster, fueled by wicked kicks and beats, making it just such a powerful tune. We hope to hear a third collaboration from these two production kings very soon!
