Zeds Dead is back with a brand-new single, “I Took A Ride,” through their label DeadBeats. The duo decided to release this laid-back tune just as they made their final preparations for DeadRocks.

DeadRocks VIII kicked off a packed weekend for the renowned Canadian production pair, comprised of DC and Hooks. Zeds Dead was scheduled for a large slate of shows this past weekend, with sets on July 2nd and 3rd at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and two more in Denver on July 4th for DeadBeats Jamboree and DeadRocks Hangover, featuring a range of HIHF favorites like Mersiv, Blanke, SuperAve, Ternion Sound, Kumarion, A Hundred Drums, and tons more!

The DeadRocks tradition has been a treasured part of Red Rocks‘ history in the past decade. The 2022 show marks Deadrocks’ eighth iteration, which began in 2014 and has brought hoards of bass music fanatics to the renowned Colorado venue each year.

“I Took A Ride” is a fun, silky smooth house-inspired track. Zeds Dead utilizes clean percussion and beautiful vocals to create a euphoric atmosphere that never seems to peter out. From start to finish, “I Took A Ride” feels like an effortless downstream journey, complete with soothing synths and toe-tapping rhythms. This is the perfect pool-side banger for the rest of Summer 2022.
