Ganja White Night links with Cyclops Recordings label head Subtronics for the duo’s first release of 2023, dubbed “Womp Portal”.  The Belgian bass duo have worked with Subtronics in the past and have supported his project for years, releasing some of his earlier work on their own label Subcarbon Records. Today’s new single from this three-headed monster of dubstep champions is an absolute behemoth of a track.

Ganja White Night had a busy 2022, curating special events across the country with diverse lineups and top-tier production. Bamby and Erwan most recently surprised fans with the announcement of their return to Red Rocks Amphitheater for Wobble Rocks II, a two-night run at the famous Colorado venue, set for May 6th and 7th. Directly following that announcement comes the highly anticipated collaborative banger, “Womp Portal.” Subtronics’ heavy sound design and Ganja White Night’s unique wobbles will have listeners fully immersed in a world of cinematic bass on this one.

The release of “Womp Portal” is accompanied by a brand new music video featuring cartoon animations designed by EBO and Aaron Brooks, two talented artists well-known for their colorful creations within the dubstep world. The video welcomes the return of Ganja White Night fan’s favorite hero, Mr. Wobble, this time battling alongside an animated version of Subtronics and his army of cyclops creatures. It appears that Subtronics has given Mr. Wobble a power-up of new abilities to help defeat his long-time nemesis, Dark Wobble.

“Womp Portal” begins with a long valiant intro, followed by hefty stomping bass and an epic melody. The series of chaotic clashes between Mr. Wobble and Dark Wobble is a staple of Ganja White Night, so we are thrilled to see that the saga continue with “Womp Portal.” Check out the full music video below!

“Womp Portal” sets the tone for what should be an unforgettable year for both Ganja White Night and Subtronics and possibly their biggest years yet. Subtronics is still beaming from the first few performances of his massive AntiFractal Tour, which is taking over the states for the next three months.
