Heard It Here First

This week’s Electronic Tuesday at The Black Box hosted VYblossom, Dimethyldreamz, CD Project, and Skeptical, and was yet again, another intimate, energetic gathering in the Lounge.

Doors opened at 8pm and attendees slowly started making their way in, the crowd was smaller to start things off, but that did not stop them from having a high energy to support the openers. Everyone who started the night crushed their sets, setting the tone for everything to come for the rest of the evening. It’s always enjoyable getting introduced to new artists at Black Box shows, watching them rinse tracks they love and show off their unique styles when it comes to their DJing.

After all the openers, you could feel the energy in the air really start to rise, Skeptical took the stage and began his set. The impeccable vibes did not stop, as he took attendees on a journey through his discography and so much more. Something about this night felt super special, and you could see the smile on Skeptical’s face throughout his performance. Especially when he played, “Balaklavla” and the crowd sang along! When you can look up and see the DJ having just as good of a time as you are in the crowd, it makes being there that much better.
