Dirt Monkey has produced some of the most energetic and wonkiest frequencies over the past decade of dubstep. He’s been producing and DJing since 2010 and has collaborated with huge acts like Ganja White Night, Illenium, Subtronics, Jantsen, and tons more heavy hitters.

Currently coming off of their Full Circle tour, going b2b each night with good friend and frequent collaborator Jantsen, Dirt Monkey is bringing fans a monstrous new album!

Following singles “Ignite” featuring Christian Acamo, “Full Circle” alongside Jantsen, “Bassface” alongside SIPPY, and “Kooks of Hazard” with Shank Aaron, fans can rejoice knowing they have loads of new Dirt Monkey music to add to their wonky dubstep playlists with the coming of his Mycelium Sound Pt. 1 LP.

“COAST 2 COAST” features bars from rapper and vocalist J Nolan and brings an onslaught of low-end drum and bass that is sure to tingle your spine.

“CUT TO THE CHASE” features the iconic vocals of Ragga Twins backed by a gruesome wonky bassline. You may recognize Ragga Twins from collaborations with Skrillex and Sammy Virji and their UK grime skills fit perfectly on this new tune.

Closing out the album is a beautiful outro tune of “Interdimensional.” This track starts off with some Dirt Monkey staple wobbles that build up into a hypnotic and mesmerizing beat. Here’s what he had to say about the new project and what’s to come:

“My double album, MYCELIUM SOUND, is the culmination of over two years of working on a wide range of different sounds and honing my skills a ton along the way.

Nicknamed the “banger album,” PT. 1 is packed with the cream of the crop when it comes to my high-energy tunes. It’s also one of my most diverse albums: beyond dubstep, it’s got plenty of house, drum & bass, halftime, dancehall, hip-hop, and more for everyone to chew on.

PT. 2 is the first time I’ve dedicated a whole release to the deeper stuff that I usually don’t play in my sets, but love producing.

Together, MYCELIUM SOUND is the most comprehensive view of what’s going on inside my head. I had a blast working on these albums…until the end when I was going absolutely insane trying to get every song as perfect as possible (haha). Now time to make more music!” – Dirt Monkey
