We had the absolute pleasure of attending Cascade Music Festival this year for their inaugural event in Redmond, OR, and all of our expectations were completely exceeded. Taking place over September 22nd-24th, this festival ran smoothly from start to finish with organized camping, indoor bathrooms, free showers, impeccable sound and stage design, and a stacked lineup of incredible talent from top to bottom.
Across six stages spanned multiple genres of music, there was truly something for everyone. A couple of the stages were indoors, and one of such, dubbed “Cosmic Drip,” was home to a full art gallery in addition to its musical offerings. The art was not limited to this room; the whole festival was glittering with murals, vendors, and attendees decked out, bringing their A-game.

One of the highlights of this weekend was undoubtedly the music. Fans were treated to a display of epic proportions from the one and only Pretty Lights, who hypnotized the crowd for upwards of two hours.
Right after that set fans got down and dirty to Of the Trees, who threw down classics, unreleased tracks, and a few from fellow artists he appreciates.
Other standout acts from the weekend include Dirtwire, who we got to sit down and talk with — you can read the interview here! They are always a good time and wove in heavy-hitting tracks from Hamdi and Of The Trees into their set. Josh Teed also knocked fans out of the park, in addition to Maddy O’Neal, Goose, Big Wild, Phantomgram, and tons more. To relive all the amazing tunes you can check out the Cascade playlist below:
All in all this festival did not disappoint in the least, and fans are already talking about its return next year. For now, they can check out the massive lineup that the curators of this festival just delivered with Gem and Jam, taking place in Tuscon, AZ February 2nd-4th, 2024. We can’t wait to see you there!
