Prepare to surrender to the sonic might of a titanic dubstep collision as SVDDEN DEATH and Wooli join forces for their debut mind-bending collaboration, “Mind Control”, released via VOYD Music. Ever since the Forbidden Four united at this year’s Forbidden Kingdom, fans have clamored for a SVDDEN DEATH x Wooli collab and the lord of VOYD himself has finally delivered. As a part of his upcoming Harbinger EP, “Mind Control” marks SVDDEN DEATH’s third monstrous release off the project. Every moment of this track is fueled with relentless intensity, meeting and even surpassing our expectations for their inaugural collaboration. 

With the SVDDEN DEATH’s Harbinger EP right around the corner, we can all agree each release so far has been a malevolent showcase of a new area of his ever-changing sound design. His latest release, “Don’t You Dare Go Hollow,” featuring the eclectic electronic maven, HVDES, entranced fans with their ethereal melodic stylings, proving there is no sub-genre safe from SVDDEN DEATH. 

Wooli’s discography has been on fire lately too, with collaborations with the likes of Tape B, Excision and Trivecta. Each one is a certified dubstep anthem in its own right. Luckily for us, in a few months, he’ll be joining Subtronics for his Tesseract tour, allowing Wooli fans to hear their new favorite tracks live and in person.

“Mind Control” opens with a hypnotic upbeat tempo luring listeners into their rapidly approaching wicked crescendo. As the beat reaches its climax, SVDDEN DEATH and Wooli’s production styles work in harmonic unison as they unleash a whirlwind of back-breaking bass guaranteed to have you itching to headbang. These two legendary producers highlight their versatility as the track ushers forward with a dark tech-house transition keeping listeners on the edge of their seats. The final drop takes us down another spell-binding sonic road, accompanied by the haunting vocals “I can feel it, mind control” solidifying the track’s mesmerizing harmony. 

This year has been filled with iconic debut collaborations and “Mind Control” is another one for the record books. SVDDEN DEATH and Wooli once again proved why their distinct sonic fingerprints resonate so highly with the heavy dubstep-loving community.
